Role

Part of this dynamic business you will be a skilled member of the Cyber Security Team. The role will enhance IT Cyber Security, through Monitoring and Standards review and improvements, in order to meet business regulatory requirements and ensure business continuity of critical processes. The role requires a good governance and assurance background, with technical skills an advantage. This is a role which spans the EMEA area and is supporting the companies EMEA Head of Security. It is an exciting role, for those that wish to expand their engagement across a variety of EU countries, but technology stacks and regulatory boundaries.

 

The main thrust of the role is governance and assurance, We are looking for should expect a varied hands-on role that will suit the intellectually curious and problem solvers interested in areas not only in Cyber Security, but security in Big Data and Cloud Computing.

 

Responsibilities

To carry out IT compliance and security audit monitoring and reporting on threat management, data breaches and security issues.Carry out investigations,Interpret security events and analyze data capturesConsulted as a Security Subject Matter Expert across a broad range of technologies; Palo Alto/Symantec example.Support the Head of Security towards giving Security advice and assistance toward high profile teams and projects.

 

Requirements

Degree Educated or relevant work experience

Familiar with security standards, ideally in the service, banking and or retail sectors.Risk assessment and auditing approaches and methodologies.

Experience of working with SIEM products, as well as Palo Alto Firewalls, Windows based platforms, data protection, Internet and Web Filtering technologies and related systems.

knowledge and exposure to reviewing and maintaining security tools.presenting written information security policies, technical documentation and reports.

Familiar with regulatory bodies PCI, NIS-D, GDPRKnowledge of ISO, ITIL and security related standards or accreditations (i.e. CCSP, ********* advantage

A good communicator and able to explain complex architecture to both technical and non-technical
